Hike overview
The Woolshed Falls walking track offers a delightful family-friendly adventure. This easy 500-meter return walk, starting near The Pines picnic area, is perfect for an afternoon stroll after a picnic lunch.
The gently winding path takes you alongside a creek, dappled sunlight filtering through the surrounding white cypress pines, bimble box trees, and delicate white daisies. Keep your eyes peeled – you might spot playful swamp wallabies basking in the shade or hear the sweet melodies of woodland birds.
The track culminates at a rocky outcrop, the intended location of the majestic Woolshed Falls. While the falls themselves are temperamental, only cascading after heavy rain, the beauty remains. Tiny orchids dot the rocks, creating a charming scene even when the water flow is minimal.
