Berrinba Wetlands is an ecologically diverse area which has extensive trails network where one can enjoy the values of the park. The Wetlands are on Scrubby Creek that brings a large diversity of bird species. It is known for its Australian pelican stops. Large colonies of sugar and squirrel gliders inhabit this area. The area used to be a sand mine and has been rehabilitated by Council over the last 10 years. It also lends itself into fitness activities as shared trails for walkers, runners and cyclists.
Stroll along more than eight kilometres of shared walking and bicycle tracks meandering through 80 hectares of wetlands. There are picnic spots throughout this natural haven, which has 100 nesting boxes for bids, possums and gliders. The kids will love the interactive environmental education (easily accessible on arrival) and state-of-the art play equipment. Designed to protect the natural environment, Berrinba Wetlands is a must-see for nature lovers.

AWTGS represents easy walking tracks that offer a slightly more challenging experience compared to Grade 1. Similar to Grade 1, no prior bushwalking experience is required. The track surface is typically hardened or compacted and may have gentle hill sections or occasional steps. The total distance of a Grade 2 walk is typically no greater than 10 kilometers. These walks are still suitable for families with a bit more experience or those seeking a gentle introduction to some inclines.
