Berrinba Wetlands is an ecologically diverse area which has extensive trails network where one can enjoy the values of the park. The Wetlands are on Scrubby Creek that brings a large diversity of bird species. It is known for its Australian pelican stops. Large colonies of sugar and squirrel gliders inhabit this area. The area used to be a sand mine and has been rehabilitated by Council over the last 10 years. It also lends itself into fitness activities as shared trails for walkers, runners and cyclists.

The track surface is typically hardened or compacted and may have gentle hill sections or occasional steps. The total distance of a Grade 2 walk is typically no greater than 10 kilometers. These walks are still suitable for families with a bit more experience or those seeking a gentle introduction to some inclines.
