A short yet spectacular track through a lush rainforest gully leading to lookouts that boast some of the most iconic views in Blue Mountains National Park. Excellent for adventurous walkers looking for a shorter route, Round walking track packs in a swag of spectacular views and waterfalls, that highlight the dramatic beauty of the Katoomba escarpment.
Take in the spectacular waterfall views from Reids Plateau before making your descent down the stairs into the shadowy gorge. In the spring the new fern shoots brush your legs and flocks of rosellas and lorikeets flit through the rainforest canopy.
At Vanimans lookout you'll have unsurpassed views of The Three Sisters and Katoomba Falls. The medium difficulty track skirts the cliff edge leading to romantically named Juliets Balcony overlooking Witches Leap waterfall.
If you're keen to further explore the dense valley, join Furber Steps which leads to Scenic World via Federal Pass.

Grade 3 (Moderate) - Walks for Most Fitness Levels: Grade 3 on the
AWTGS represents moderate walking tracks. These are ideal for walkers with some fitness who are comfortable with some hills and uneven terrain. While suitable for most ages, some bushwalking experience is recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Tracks may have short, steep hill sections, a rough surface, and many steps. The total distance of a Grade 3 walk can be up to 20 kilometers.

Getting there
Getting to the trailhead: Blue Mountains National Park.
To Scenic World. Round Walk walking track is in the Katoomba precinct of Blue Mountains National Park. To get there, turn off the Great Western Highway at Cliff Drive and park at Scenic World or opposite Katoomba Falls Kiosk near Katoomba Caravan Park.Alternatively, it is easy to catch the train to Katoomba and catch a bus to the Caravan Park (Katoomba Falls Kiosk) to begin this walk. You can return from the kiosk, or catch a bus back from Scenic World (500 metres away). Park entry points Scenic World See on map Parking Parking is available on Main road or at Scenic World. Bus parking is available.
