Millers Landing Nature Walk is a 5.2km, grade 2 hike located in the Wilsons Promontory National Park, Victoria. The hike should take around 2 hrs to complete.
Hike summary
Millers Landing is home to the southernmost stand of mangroves in the world. This inlet, a haven for migratory birds and is a birdwatcher's paradise. From Five Mile Carpark the walk meanders through banksia and stringybark woodlands. A great place to see nectar-feeding birds - particularly in spring and summer. Along the trail there is evidence of recent controlled burns and the resulting regeneration of banksia and grasstrees. The forested parts of the walk are great for spotting nectar-feeding birds - particularly in spring and summer.
