The natural beauty of the Whitsunday Islands will truly take your breath away. If you are visiting world-renowned Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, it is well worth including the 1.3 kilometre return walk to Hill Inlet Lookout. The Whitsunday islands were once part of the Australian continent and they have a tumultuous geological history, a complex eco system and a long tradition of Indigenous use. The Whitsundays Ngaro Sea Trail has been created in the Whitsunday Islands National Park to share some of this information with you. The area was significant to the Ngaro people and this walk takes you on an uphill stroll along a narrow path for an unforgettably spectacular view of white sweeping sands and turquoise waters.
