Como Bridge is a 1.5km, grade 2 hike located in the Oatley Embankment Gardens, New South Wales. The hike should take around 45 mins to complete.
Hike summary
A rail trail that follows part of the approach easement (from Oatley) then crosses the former Como Railway Bridge to Como. This old bridge lies next to a more modern dual track suburban/country rail bridge carrying the main south coast line traffic.
Approx one kilometre from Oatley Railway station (north) a sealed walking and cycle path commences at the end of Myra Place. It travels south along the old railway corridor, crosses the bridge and finishes in Cremona Rd Como (south). The entire pathway is some 1.5 kilometres in length.
At the Como end, the pathway continues through The Como Reserve to the historic Como Hotel and adjacent streets. We suggest users consult with web sites that deal with Sydney bicycle pathways for further information about interconnecting pathways.

It’s a good idea to let someone know where you’re going. Fill in a trip intention form to send important details about your trip to your emergency contact. If you are lost or require help and have phone reception, call 000 and ask for police. The international standard emergency number is 112, if you dial this number in Australia you will be treated exactly the same as a 000 call. If you believe your life is at risk, activate your personal locator beacon (PLB), then make your position visible to rescue teams and keep warm and dry.

Located in Sydney and Blue Mountains……???? Really ?? Its a 40 min train ride from Sydney and 1 hr drive from The Blue Mountains. So the reference to The Blue Mountains is a massive stretch.
