The Blessington Track & Cape Deliverance hike offers a stunning coastal walk with sweeping views of the Derwent estuary, concluding at Pot Beach with excellent views of the Iron Pot Lighthouse. The narrow and undulating Blessington Track follows the coast reserve to Fort Beach, 1.7 km away, making it less suitable for unsteady walkers.
Continue along Fort Beach to the track that leads to Cape Deliverance and the Lone Pine Memorial. On the other side of the cape, Pot Beach provides views of Iron Pot and North Bruny Island. This 6.8 km, grade 3 hike in South Arm, Tasmania, takes about 2.5 hours to complete.
Begin your hike from the car park adjacent to the war memorial in South Arm, and walk along the shared driveway above Jetty Road to reach the start of the track.
