Lilly Pilly Gully Circuit is a 5.6km, grade 2 Circuit hike located in Wilsons Promontory National Park Victoria. The hike should take approximately 2hrs to complete.

Summary

A popular day visitor destination the Lilly Pilly Gully Track offers visitors a chance to experience one of Australia’s southern-most patches of warm temperate rainforest.

Starting at the Lilly Pilly Gully car park the hike follows the Lilly Pilly Gully Track as it meanders through the lush rainforest of Lilly Pilly Gully before ascending to climb across the southern face of Mt Bishop through stringy-bark forest. The final stage continues through the rainforest again as part of the return Lilly Pilly Gully Nature Walk.

The Lilly Pilly Gully Circuit provides a glimpse into the Prom’s forested interior, traversing heathland, eucalypt forest and a boardwalk through stands of warm temperate rainforest.

Tips

The Lilly Pilly Gully circuit will take you past a variety of vegetation including eucalypt forests, coastal heathland and temperate fern gullies. If you had time to do only one walk at Wilsons Promontory, this one is quite special and well worth taking the time to explore the complete circuit.
