Is it ope? Last time I went there, it was all locked up
Duncan Richardson not sure. I’d have to check the land managers website. Oh. Just realised you may be referring to the bridge, not the walk. The bridge is locked up and impassable.
Nice short hike to a great piece of history. There’s also longer walks to the bridge but they are mostly along gravel roads and can feel a bit monotonous
Darren Edwards I think there’s a small rail trail on the Noojee town ship side, also good lesser known places to walk in the state forests around there too.
Dean Herman yes I’ve done a few hikes around there connecting to the discovery trail.
Trail Hiking Australia have you looked at the Upper Yarra trail from Warburton to Walhalla? Tanjil Bren is beautiful too. I’ve not heard of the discovery trail do you have info on it?
Dean Herman I’ve looked at Warburton to Walhalla but have never hiked it. Here’s a couple along sections of the discovery trail https://www.trailhiking.com.au/find-a-hike/?_state=victoria-2&_parks_reserves=colquhoun-state-forest
