Hike overview
Mannum Waterfalls, a sculpted masterpiece by nature, beckons outdoor enthusiasts with its scenic beauty and fascinating geology. This popular bushwalking destination features moderate to challenging walking tracks along Reedy Creek, leading you to cascading waterfalls.
The 3-kilometre hike, rated moderate difficulty, takes roughly 1.25 hours to complete. Access to the falls is facilitated by two carparks. The first carpark, on your left, presents a more strenuous approach with a 1-kilometre climb (in sections) to reach the waterfalls. Alternatively, the second carpark, situated above the falls, offers a shorter downhill walk.
A scenic walking trail unfolds along Reedy Creek, guiding you from the lower pools to the cascading waterfalls. This adventure playground, suitable for all ages, allows you to explore the granite rock formations, refreshing pools, and cascading waterfalls by rock-hopping along the creek gully. Keep your eyes peeled for the abundant birdlife and wildlife that call this area home.
While the waterfalls grace the landscape year-round, their most spectacular display follows winter rains or periods of heavy rainfall in the catchment area. Mannum Waterfalls promises a rewarding escape into nature, combining geological wonder with scenic views and diverse wildlife.
