The Brickfields Track guides you through the historic remnants of a brick-making area that was once part of the short-lived 1840s convict probation station. The trail is a mix of narrow bush track and timber boardwalk, with some steps along the way. It winds from the intersection of Taronga Road and the Channel Highway, connecting to the Alum Cliffs Track.
This 1 km, grade 3 hike in Bonnet Hill, Tasmania, takes about 45 minutes to complete. You can access the Brickfields Track from either Taronga Road (adjacent to the Channel Highway) or from the Alum Cliffs Track. Facilities such as toilets, drinking water, parking, and cafes are available at Kingston Beach, with limited parking at Taronga Road.
