Hike overview
Bluff loop walking track is a great track for kids or anyone keen to explore the lush, coastal forests of Bongil Bongil National Park. Beginning and ending at Tuckers Rocks, the track offers access to the lookout overlooking Bundageree Creek. Enjoy lunch at Bluff loop picnic area or pick a spot along the track.
Bluff loop walking track winds through dense jungle of vines, palms and rainforest trees in the more protected area behind the sand dunes. Up on the ridge, you'll discover an astonishing range of eucalypt species including forest red gum, red mahogany and pink bloodwood. Stop and enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze as you look for koalas in the tree tops.
Through our NSW Discovery program, school groups are guided along this track, sharing the history and culture of Gumbaynggirr People from this area.

There is limited/no mobile reception in this park
It's a good idea to put sunscreen on before you set out and remember to take a hat

Getting there
Getting to the trailhead: Bongil Bongil National Park.
To Bundagaree access. Bluff loop walking track is in the Tuckers Rocks area of Bongil Bongil National Park. To get there:From Old Pacific Highway at Repton, turn east onto Perrys Road.Continue on Perrys Road, which becomes Tuckers Rock Road, leading through the national park.When you see Tuckers Rocks Cottage, a few kilometres past Repton, park beside the cottage.Bluff loop track starts just north of the cottage Park entry points Bundagaree access See on map Parking Parking is available at Tuckers Rocks carpark, a short 100m walk from Bluff loop trackhead. It can be a busy place on the weekend, so parking might be limited then.
