This area includes multi-use trails on a graded track with some steep grades. It forms part of the Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area, one of the most intact natural koala habitat areas between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Includes eucalypt forest, melaleuca wetlands and riparian forest communities along creek lines. It's a popular bushwalking and mountain biking destination.

Located within the Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area (Daisy Hill Koala Station) in Mount Cotton are public toilet facilities, including a dedicated accessible toilet.
