The Mill and Boroondara is a 15.7km, grade 4 Circuit hike located in Murrindindi Scenic Reserve Victoria. The hike should take approximately 5hrs to complete.

The The Mill and Boroondara hike commences at the suspension bridge carpark. Crossing the Suspension Bridge located at the northern end of Murrindindi Scenic Reserve, turn left and follow Mill Track up to Jacksons Road. The road forms part of a loop that leads to the Jackson Road carpark and Wilhelmina Falls. From here follow the Wilhelmina Track down to the Murrindindi River Walk head right before crossing the Grassy Flats.

Turn right at the junction of the Boroondara Loop Track and carefully descend down the rock trail to the Murrindindi River before turning to the left and following the river walk to the Boroondara carpark. Stroll along the Boroondara Track to the Boroondara footbridge then folow the track upstream to the Wilhelmina Walk intersection. At the point you will pick up the remainder of the Mill Track, following it along its length back to the Suspension Bridge Carpark.

  1. Quite curious to do this hike. I’ve done very short walks in the area and I noticed some areas are regenerating from the bushfires, whereas some escaped. I think this is in the bushfire impacted area (based on the photo as well)? Or does it have some parts that escaped the bushfires?
