Hike overview
Little Forest walking track in Morton National Park is an easy walk featuring lovely bush scenery and opportunities for birdwatching. Along the way, interpretative signs will help you learn more about local bird and wildlife.
The walk begins at a small carpark off Dam Road and continues on to Rusden, or Florence Head walking tracks, through a variety of vegetation types, including mallee gum trees, heath plants and sedges. Keep your eyes out along the way for local kangaroos, wallabies and an array of bird life, such as honeyeaters, wrens and colourful parrots.

Getting there
Little Forest walking track is in the Little Forest precinct of Morton National Park.Travel about 8km north of Milton. Turn left at Pointer Gap Road.Follow road for about 7.0km up the escarpment. Turn left onto Dam Road at T-intersection.Little Forest carpark is about another 2.5km on the left Parking Parking is available at a small carpark at the start of the walk off Dam Road.

The park is easily accessible from Bundanoon, Kangaroo Valley, Nowra and Ulladulla, so it makes for a great day trip or weekend getaway.
