Island Pool Walk Trail is a 2km, grade 3 hike located in the Lane Poole Reserve, Western Australia. The hike should take around 1.25 hrs to complete.
Hike overview
Nestled on the banks of the eastern side of the Murray River, Island Pool is a pretty spot to spend a day. The Island Pool walk trail starts from the top Car Park and is a one-hour loop through scenic jarrah forest and provides excellent views of the valley and the river below.
This walk leads up the side of the Murray River valley and provides excellent views of the valley and the river below. The seasonal appearance of wild-flowers makes this a popular trail during spring. Island Pool is a great spot for walking, picnicking, swimming and canoeing. nNo camping is allowed and the site is not suitable for large groups.
