This proposed 43km long rail trail would provide valuable recreational and commuting link for locals and a great attraction for visitors from Brisbane and beyond. The first stage, a 3.5km spur from Logan Village to Yarrabilba, is now open. For updates, please visit the Rail Trails website.
The Beaudesert to Bethania Rail Trail Support Group was formed in early 2009 to gather community, local government and state government support for this proposal. Several well attended meetings have been held and the Logan City Council is to go ahead with a feasibility study.
