A standout feature of the site is the ‘Near Me’ tool, which identifies trails within a 50km radius of your location, making it easier than ever to uncover hidden gems nearby.
About Trail Hiking Australia
Trail Hiking Australia began in 2015 as a non-commercial, passion-driven initiative, developed and funded as a personal project. It has since become a leading source of trail and hiking information in Victoria.
Before its launch, detailed online trail information was hard to find. Resources were often scattered across print publications, individual blogs, and club sites that required memberships or fees. These options typically offered only a limited selection of popular trails, often with incomplete maps and minimal planning or safety advice.
Trail Hiking Australia changed that. Every hike on the site includes:
