Roachdale Reserve, located approximately 40 kilometres north-east of Adelaide, South Australia, offers a rare glimpse into the original native forest of the Mount Lofty Ranges. This 46-hectare woodland is a haven for native wildlife, showcasing a diverse understorey of grasses, herbs, and shrubs adapted to the region’s dry climate.

Originally gifted to the National Trust by Miss Hilda Roach in 1957, Roachdale Reserve is one of several natural areas managed by the organisation. Access to Roachdale Reserve is via Wattle Road, located approximately 2.5 kilometres north of Kersbrook on the main South Para Road. A designated parking area and trailhead are available at the intersection of Wattle Road and South Para Road.
