1) Soto Windmaster stove. Light, reliable, very good for regulating fuel and heat and very good in the wind.
2) Tarptent Stratospire Li tent. It’s totally bombproof and far better than all the nylon tents I’ve seen or used. It’s also awesome that Dynema is able to be fully dried so I don’t carry extra weight and have minimal danger of wetting other gear with a wet tent.
3) NeoAir XTherm Insulated Sleeping Pad – very warm, very comfortable, very light with a small volume to pack

The Soto Windmaster is an awesome stove. I did heaps of research before getting this and I’m not disappointment. For anyone wondering, this is the baby here

My three favourite items, for day and overnighters are my PLB, compass and knife. Never go hiking without them.

For me it’s gotta be my PLB, torch and first aid kit. Always in my kit. Kinda sounds like I’m prone to accidents 🙂 Not really, I just rate safety as a top priority.
