Hogarth Falls is a pretty waterfall, walking distance from Strahan Village.  Access to the Waterfall is via ‘People’s Park’, with a very pleasant short walk to the waterfall.

The walking track meanders adjacent to Botanical creek, which is home to a number of platypus which can occasionally be seen closer to dusk. The region is also home to an abundance of birds, wallabies, possums, and quolls.

Hogarth Falls is a delightful waterfall all year round, with the winter / spring months providing more water flow through the falls.

  1. Ah yes… Strahan… tis a memory brought to life, an emotional imprint from another time… an adventure with my family of wife, & three gorgeous young daughters …
We car toured there amongst other iconic Tasmanian locations… the girls even experienced snow at Mt Wellington, placed above Hobart…
For me, I sense a need to return decades later…this time there is no family 😞… just me
