The N.R. Pierce Reserve is a significant bushland reserve donated to the people of Glenorchy by the Pierce family in 1988 in memory of Norman R. Pierce and his significant contribution to the community.

There are many unmarked tracks and fire trails throughout the reserve which access Transcend power lines or other services within the reserve. Walkers should be careful not to get lost as the Reserve connects onto Wellington Park which includes an expansive tract of native bush which is very isolated and can be exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Getting there
From Berriedale head west towards Collinsvale and veer left onto Collinsvale Road. Drive approximately 3.5 km and the beginning of the Zig Zag trail into N. R. Pierce Reserve is on the left of a hair-pin bend. Note there is limited car parking.
