Hike overview
The Lions Lookout Walk Trail is a 4 kilometre loop trail providing expansive views over the Perth Coastal Plain and an abundance of wildflowers in spring. Perfect for a short walk through the bush without having to travel too far.
Located right on Welshpool Road East, this family friendly 4km loop is perfect for a quick escape into the bush. The trail mainly follows wide 4x4 tracks through the Jarrah forest and you are never far from a spectacular view. The best views are at the top of the first climb before heading into the bushland near Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. In spring there is an array of wildflowers on display of all shapes and colours.

Located around the townsites of Karragullen and Pickering Brook, Korung National Park is a popular spot for bushwalking and mountain biking. The Munda Biddi Bike Trail runs through parts of this park, and there are several designated walk trails which you can try. The park comes alive in the springtime when the wildflowers are at their peak.
