Berrinba Wetlands is an ecologically diverse area which has extensive trails network where one can enjoy the values of the park. The Wetlands are on Scrubby Creek that brings a large diversity of bird species. It is known for its Australian pelican stops. Large colonies of sugar and squirrel gliders inhabit this area. The area used to be a sand mine and has been rehabilitated by Council over the last 10 years. It also lends itself into fitness activities as shared trails for walkers, runners and cyclists.

Berrinba Wetlands is a must for nature lovers. Explore these serene and picturesque wetlands along more than eight kilometres of shared walking and bicycle tracks and discover lovely spots for picnics. The kids can visit the interactive information environmental education centre, ride their bikes, or have fun on state-of-the-art play equipment.
