Caboolture - Wamuran & Loop Rail Trail is a 6km, grade 3 one way hike, located in South East Queensland, Queensland. The hike should take approximately 2hrs to complete.

Hike Summary

A short but scenic trail quite close to Brisbane
proposal to construct rail trail from Cabloolture to Wamuran.

These TRAIL signs actually mark the "Wamuran Loop Trail" (28km) which runs through the forest and, also starting at Raaen Road. The Loop Trail also takes in a short section of former railway beside the highway just west of Wamuran. Note: the current condition of the loop rail is unknown. It was maintained by the Caboolture Shire Council.

The railway line is not used but it is apparently not officially closed either. Closure seems likely and it is proposed to develop a high standard trail along the alignment.
