Mount Beckworth – Southern Section is a 7.3km, grade 3 Circuit hike located in Mount Beckworth Scenic Reserve Victoria. The hike should take approximately 3hrs to complete.
A lone pine tree stands as a sentinel crowning this picturesque granite outcrop, a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Mount Beckworth Scenic Reserve offers magnificent views and a rich variety of spring wildflowers.
The best way to enjoy the Mt Beckworth – Southern Section is on foot. A network of tracks links all major features within the reserve. The walk to the summit is rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Mount Beckworth Scenic Reserve is 8 km west of Clunes and 35 km north of Ballarat.
