Cape Willoughby Lightstation Heritage Circuit is a 1.9km, grade 3 hike located in Cape Willoughby Lightstation, South Australia. The hike should take around 45 minutes to complete.
Hike overview
The hike begins from the Visitor Centre beside the lighthouse. The hike costs $3 per person. You can also walk around and explore the lightstation. The Visitor Centre is open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. During spring, summer and autumn school holidays the Visitor Centre is open 7 days a week. When the Visitor Centre is closed, you can still undertake the Heritage Hike by placing the $3 fee in the fee box.

About the region
Situated in the easternmost point of Kangaroo Island, Cape Willoughby Lighthouse was the first lighthouse to be built in South Australia in 1852. It stands 27 metres high with 102 steps to the lookout tower, and offers stunning panoramic view across Backstairs Passage and the Kangaroo Island coastline.
