How accurate is the location-based search?

Accuracy depends on how your device determines location.

• When using mobile data or GPS, results are typically precise.
• When connected via Wi-Fi, location may be estimated using your IP address, which can result in less accurate positioning.

If results appear inconsistent with your actual location, adjust the map manually or refine your search using state, park or region filters.

Location-based search is designed to assist discovery, but final trail selection should still consider grade, distance, terrain and conditions.
