For many years I have wanted to build an app for the Trail Hiking Australia community but I don’t want it to be just another app like AllTrails or Gia, I would prefer to have more of a planning and safety focus. So, in addition to the info already on this site, I have been exploring other features to include. As you know, I built this site as a hobby so I can’t spend the big bucks corporates can, so I am trying crowd-source funding or seek government funding to help. I can’t promise I am going to build an app as it will all come down to how much its going to cost. I’ve been quoted around $70k so far so if you know a great developer or corporate partner, feel free to let me know.
