    Yes.

Trail Hiking Australia welcomes submissions for established public access trails that are not already listed on the site.

Before submitting, please search the database to ensure the trail does not already exist. Duplicate listings are not published.

You can submit a new hike here:
    https://www.trailhiking.com.au/add-listing/hikes/

    What information should I provide?

The more accurate and detailed the submission, the more efficient the review process will be.

    Helpful information includes:

    • Trail name and location
    • Distance and estimated duration
    • Trail type and terrain description
    • Elevation profile or key features
    • Access details and parking information
    • A GPX file (if available)
    • Photos (optional)

Submissions without complete information may take longer to verify.

    How are submitted hikes reviewed?

All new trail submissions undergo structured review before publication.

    This may include:

    • Cross-checking against topographic maps
    • Reviewing official land manager sources
    • Verifying public access status
    • Assessing safety considerations and grading alignment

Trail Hiking Australia focuses on established, legal public access routes. Sensitive environments, unofficial routes or restricted areas are not published.

Publication is subject to editorial discretion and verification standards.
