Millers Landing Nature Walk is a 5.5km, grade 2 hike located in Wilsons Promontory National Park, Victoria. The hike should take around 2 hours to complete.
Hike overview
The Millers Landing Nature Walk is a short and easy hike that takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in Wilsons Promontory National Park. The walk begins at Five Mile Carpark and meanders through banksia and stringybark woodlands before descending to Millers Landing, a tranquil inlet that is home to the southernmost stand of mangroves in the world.
The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow, making it a great option for families with young children. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, and emus. In the spring and summer months, the area is also a haven for birdwatchers, with many species of migratory birds making their home in the mangroves.
Millers Landing is a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. There are plenty of spots to sit and take in the view, and if you're feeling energetic, you can take a walk along the beach at low tide.
