Discover Mount Buninyong Scenic Reserve: A Volcanic Peak

Mount Buninyong Scenic Reserve is home to an extinct volcano that rises 745 metres above the surrounding plains. A prominent landmark visible from Melbourne to the Grampians, the mountain has been a significant point of reference for generations of local people.

Located approximately 110 kilometres west of Melbourne, Victoria, the reserve offers opportunities to explore the volcanic landscape through a network of walking tracks. The summit provides panoramic views of the region, while the surrounding area is characterised by native vegetation.
