Overnight-Hikes-with-Kids-in-Victoria

Are you looking for overnight hikes to that will give your kids a sense of adventure and get your kids into the great outdoors?

Have you ever taken your kids on an overnight hike? It is not ‘mission impossible’, but does need some careful planning with regard to the gear that is used and the weight children can be expected to carry easily. The earlier in life kids become acquainted with hiking longer distances (as early as age 3), the more likely they will be receptive to a hiking trip at a later age. So get them started.

I have prepared a handful of Overnight Hikes with Kids in Victoria. All have varied distances and have been great for my kids instruction to and continued hiking experience. I hope your’s will love them too. The key features of all of these hikes is that they are not overly long, the terrain is varied, there is an interesting feature at the end of the first day and any steep sections are short lived. When you are ready for something a little bit more challenging simply search my site.

Before you get started, don’t forget to read the article I have prepared on overnight hiking with your kids.
