    I’m so glad I found this spectacular Lookout. I knew it was “high” and from what you’re saying that means it’s height above the valley below is around 600m.

    That *is* high. Perhaps not by “world standards” but everyone there (almost exclusively foreign tourists) were also impressed, especially with the gorgeous escarpments and bushland that also surround you.

  • I have visited Echo Point many times and always have been in awe. But today was the first time I chose to take the walk to Lady Darley Lookout and I was certainly not disappointed! The view is amazing and is far less crowded with visitors.

    I’m intrigued though – does anyone know how high this point is above the plateau below? It seems very high but I am a very poor judge of height or distance.

    I’m so glad I got to see it on a clear day. It was unforgettable!
