Devil’s Garden State Forest: A Serene Woodland Escape

Located on the eastern side of the Grampians, approximately 250 kilometres west of Melbourne, Victoria, Devil’s Garden State Forest offers a tranquil escape into nature. Dominated by River Red Gum, Yellow Box, and Golden Wattle, the forest presents an open woodland landscape. The forest is renowned for its vibrant display of native orchids during the springtime.

Birdwatchers will find the forest particularly rewarding. A diverse range of avian species inhabits the area, including Yellow-tufted and Black-chinned Honeyeaters, Square-tailed Kites, Red-capped and Hooded Robins, and many more.
