Sugarloaf Happy Valley Circuit – 10 kms, easy to medium, 3 to 4 hours

17 February @ 08:30 - 12:30

What we’ll do:
This is a relatively easy and short walk through a re-forested old gold mining area along formed walking tracks and quite country lanes with just one section off track. There are several short climbs up and down along the way. We’ll head off on the Sugarloaf Circuit track before veering away and down to Happy Valley. We’ll circumnavigate the valley before crossing towards Rob Roy Hill Climb. From there its back up the hill to the Reservoir Picnic Ground.

What to bring:
Chances are its going to be hot so come prepared with sun protection and plenty of water. I’ll only call the walk off if it is going to be exceptionally hot with extreme fire danger.

Important to know:

Trail Hiking Australia provides a ‘hike at your own risk’ platform. My website is simply a platform to gather outdoor enthusiasts together. I do not provide a professional guide service. The hosts who are hiking with you may or may not have CPR or first aid abilities. They also are not required to have a first aid kit on them. They are not actual ‘guides’ but are simply creating a meeting point for you all to gather. All a host is promising by posting a hike in the Trail Hiking Australia calendar is that they will be there at the meeting time and help everyone gather. They will also make every effort to lead and will keep the group hiking together. By joining a hike you automatically accept that you have read and agree to the waiver. Not reading this document does not excuse you from agreeing to the personal liability terms of our waiver.
